One Tree Hill

If you are anything like me, you have seen all nine seasons of "One Tree Hill" many different times and know all about the Naley romance. Also if you are anything like me, Naley is by far your favorite television couple. I have watched tons of television shows in my life and nothing even compares. From Chuck and Blair, to Meredith and Derek, to even Cory and Topanga, I have never seen a love quite like Nathan and Haley. They not only make my heart happy, but they give me hope for the future. It is amazing how two people who are so different initially, end up being not only lovers, but best of friends. Their relationship was not perfect for sure, but they were able to make it through any obstacle thrown their way, which is why I adore them so much. With "One Tree Hill" being my favorite show, it seemed only fitting to write an article on it, so here are 15 Naley moments that made me (and I am sure many others) an emotional wreck.

1. “Don’t say I never gave you anything.”

Ugh this was the start of it all. This was really the first time we got to see the sweet side of Nathan and when Haley started to actually fall for him.

2. “I wanna be someone who is good enough to be seen with you.”

I don't know about you, but this made my heart skip a couple beats when Nathan said this.

3. That time when Nathan apologized to Haley out in the rain.

Definitely a little corny of Nathan to say, but basically anything that comes out of his mouth is cute, so how could you not love this scene?

4. “I could love you forever, so why can’t forever start today?”

They may have been in high school, but their love was unconditional. This scene was one I was waiting for when I first watched the show, and I am sure I cried every time I watched it.

5. When Nathan found out he made it into the NBA and Haley was more excited than he was about it.

One thing I always loved about Naley was that they were so passionate about each other's dreams. Haley cried when she found out Nathan made it into the NBA, and Nathan was always so supportive of Haley with her music career (even when it involved Chris Keller).

6. When Nathan and Haley were fighting and they found Jamie face down in the pool, and Haley said she wanted a divorce.

Probably hands down the hardest scene for me. I was a complete wreck when Haley said she wanted a divorce from Nathan. Of course, it did not actually happen, but the creator, Mark Schwahn certainly was good at keeping us on the edge of our seats.

7. When Nathan came back inside the school to get Haley during the shooting.

Nathan basically risked his life to make sure Haley was alive and safe. I was so worried something bad was going to happen to one of them, but thank gosh nothing did!

8. When Haley went on tour with Chris Keller.

This was heartbreaking. Nathan had told Haley if she left with Chris Keller then their marriage was over, and OF COURSE she left. Season two was a pretty rough one for me in terms of tears.

9. “We got married last night.”

I always loved how spontaneous they were as a couple. They knew they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives, so they just went out and got married. Now that is true love right there.

10. “You shouldn’t have done that Nathan.” “I wanted to.”

So many happy tears during this scene. Their first kiss was so cute and romantic. Each and every Naley kiss was so special, so you could not help but cry a little every time they kissed.

11. “I was hurt Haley, but I was still proud of you everyday.”

This scene really hit me hard. After Haley was away on tour for so long, and Nathan was so mad at her, he was still proud of her everyday she was gone. He saved all of her newspaper articles because he was so proud of her, despite how mad he was that she left him.

12. “Haley, stay with me tonight.” “Oh, I was hoping you’d say that.”

This was the first night when things started to click again for Nathan and Haley when Haley got back from tour. I am sure every fan out there was waiting for this moment when things would start to look up for Naley.

13. “Marry me Haley. Marry me again in front of all our friends and our family.” “Always. Always and forever.”

This scene was just so cute. I was so happy that they got to have their wedding, even though they already got married once before.

14. The scene when Haley pushed Nathan out of the way of the car that Dante was driving, while she was pregnant.

This scene tore my heart into about 100 pieces. I was so scared that Haley lost the baby, and I could not believe she stepped in front of the car to save Nathan. Yet, another scene where Naley were relationship goals.

15. The reunion of Nathan and Haley after Nathan went missing.

Except for the last episode when I was a complete mess, this episode was probably one of the last scenes when I got emotional. After Nathan was kidnapped for such a long time and Haley thought he might be dead, this scene of them being reunited was just what I needed.

To sum this up, I have to give a quick shoutout to Mark Schwahn for this amazing show, and all of the tears it brought me. It definitely changed my life, and it is still one of those shows that I can turn on when I have nothing to watch and enjoy it. Thank you.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
