There may be 26 thousand of us, but the love for our school brings us all together.

The Missouri State campus may be home to 26 thousand students, however, attending this amazing university, no matter what organization you are apart of or where you come from, we all have these 15 things in common.

1. Owning way too much maroon. Which is totally acceptable of course because everyone looks good in the color.

2. Getting overly hyped for tailgate and football season. Everyone fills with excitement that Thursday before a home game when they are walking to class and they see that all the tents are being set up for that Saturday football game.

3. Following the Football games, we all know the good ole' fight song by heart.

B.....E.....A.....R.....S BEARS!

4. Everyone knows who Cliff Smart is and you're lying if you don't follow our cool president on twitter.

5. Thinking our slogan is the best slogan and getting angry when you realized Mizzou started copying it....

Missouri State: Follow your passion, Find your place!

Mizzou: Follow your dreams, find your future.

6. Loving to hate Mizzou, and SIU, and Wichita too.

7. Wichita is not, and never will be a state.

8. No matter how many pictures you have in front of the bear statue, you can't help, but take another.

9. Being in love with Boomer and practically running to get a picture with him because he truly is the best mascot.

10. Everyone gets sad when they turn off the West Mall fountain in the winter because it makes the campus look more alive. We all patiently await the fountains spring welcome party and you bet you'll see a good number of snapchats of that beautiful landmark.

11. When all your friends are going on, especially on a Thursday night, you feel a lot less bad about yourself calling the library "Club Meyer" if you're stuck there rather than going out.

12. Those crazy Thirsty Thursdays when you get overly excited to talk to Georgia on your way downtown on the bear line.

13. That walk to Garst is always worth it.

14. Telling yourself you refuse to gain the "Mo State 28" and that you're going to work out every day and eat soooo healthy, but you actually end up only going to the rec once a semester and eating Taco Bell three times a week.

15. Already knowing what to wear on Fridays because it's Bear Wear Friday!!

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
