Being a server is a great job to learn customer service, make a lot of money fast, learn to deal with stress, etc. But sometimes, being a server can be one of the most difficult jobs because you never know who you are going to be dealing with when you walk up to serve a table. Here are just a few things that accurately describe being a server:

1. When the customer asks you every ingredient in every dish as if it is not written in clear English right in front of them.

2. When customers come in during the lunch rush and tell you they are in a hurry.

3. When you have rude customers and they leave less than a 10% tip.

4. When the customers are arguing about who is going to pick up the checks or how many to split it into.

5. When your table of 40 are all on one check.

6. When you are just so over it.

7. When you ask a table if everyone is doing okay and literally no one responds.

8. The accuracy.

9. When you're cut and you have to wait for your last table to pay and leave.

10. The secret life you live when you go back to the kitchen with your co-workers.

11. The people who just really don't understand.

12. This has happened more times than you would think.

13. The realization that you will never know what time you will be off.

14. "Can you split all 40 of us onto separate checks?"

15. As much as it sucks sometimes, you will work there as long as you can because you know you won't ever make as much money as fast as you do being a server.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
