15 Lyrics From Drake's 'Views' That Remind You Of An "Ex"

Drake released his anticipated fourth studio album Views on Friday and I can’t decide whether or not to text an “ex” because feelings I’ve been trying to bury are coming back to the surface ,or should I get a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Tonight Dough and continue to push the feelings away with Drake’s beautiful voice.

Here are 15 lyrics from VIEWS that will make you feel some type of emotional indecisive way .

1. Keep the Family Close:

"I always saw you for what you could've been...And even when it's business with you...it's personal again...I knew you before you made ends meet now we're meeting our ends.

As hard as you try to keep a poker face with an ex, there’s always a chance that personal feelings will rise because you really really liked them at a point. Sometimes it’s hard to let go.

2. One Dance:

“You know you gotta stick by me...Soon as you see the text, reply me… I don’t wanna spend time-fighting...We’ve got no time”

Why spend time playing the same old mind games when we could be doing this?... Sidenote: I would reply to Drake ANY DAY.

3. Childs Play:

“You don’t wanna fall in love I know… I’m not someone you should trust I know”.

4. Redemption:

“I miss the feeling of you missing me...But you say you’re over and done with me".

I don’t want things to be over because I stopped us before we even started. I miss you missing me.

5. Fire & Desire:

“I figure out you, you figure out me...We both a different breed. I’m following your lead, I ask you what you need… You say it’s guaranteed”.

Nothing is better than knowing someone else has your back and that you’re in this together.

6. With You:

“Yeah, linking me down on my line...Busy as usual but we should make some time”.

Busy schedules make relationships hard but making time for one another is so important.

7. Too Good:

“I don’t know how to talk to you...I don’t know how to ask if you’re okay...My friends always feel the need to tell me things...Seems like they’re just happier than us these days”.

Remember when you could message without thinking a million different things? Now when you really want to see how they are because you still care, you don’t know how to or are terrified that they will want absolutely nothing to do with you, so you have to ask all your friends for info.

8. Feels No Ways:

“I had to let go of us to show myself what I could do...And that just didn’t sit right with you...And now you’re trying to make me feel a way, on purpose”.

Sometimes people need space to figure out who they are apart from another person. That moment after you have figured out some things and you’re person has moved on, crushes your heart.

9. U With Me?:

“Cuts too deep for a band-aid solution...We too deep in this thing you”ll never lose me”.

Laughing at the thought of losing you... Once real, genuine, authentic feelings are involved it’s hard to let go.

10. Faithful:

“I won’t have affairs, I’m yours, girl faithful, faithful, faithful, faithful”.

All anyone ever wants is someone who will be faithful to them. Is that really too much to ask for?

11. Controlla:

“But you can’t just diss and come tell me sorry...You can’t listen to me talk and go tell my story...Nah, it don’t work like that when you love somebody”

12. Too Good:

“Years go by too fast… I can’t keep track...How long did we last? I feel bad for asking...It can’t end like this...We gotta take time with this”.

No matter how many years pass, it is never too late to fix things and try again… In a perfect world, the more years we spent apart the more mature we both hopefully became. (l can at least wish!)

13. Redemption:

“Oh, Please give me time...Cause I’m searchin’ for these words to say to you right now...Redemption’s on your mind when you think about me”.

You think about me and I think about you...How about a second chance?

14. Keep the Family Close:

“When I needed you, you couldn't give me any advice...But you always had something to say every other time”.

Don't talk to me at all.... BYE

15. Hotline Bling:

“You used to call me on my cell phone...Late night when you need my love...Call me on my cell phone...Late night when you need my love...I know when that hotline bling...That can only mean one thing”.

When you don't have to say anything because they already know.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
