Have you felt out of luck in the flirting game? Don't know what you are doing wrong? Ready to try something new? Well, here are some tips on how to better your flirting abilities. Surely these tips will help the person you are trying to impress!

1. Be everywhere they are. Find out his/her schedule and follow them. Soon they realize you are a familiar face that they always see.

2. When you are in the same room as them, go ahead and stare at them. If they notice you looking, intensify the stare. They'll eventually get the hint. (Winking is always a good choice, too).

3. Since you found out their schedule, try getting into all of their classes. Go ahead and switch your major, too! They'll love the commitment you are making. Plus, you'll have more time to look at them without them knowing.

4. The real game changer is becoming their new neighbor. Find out where they live, and move in next door. Keep the windows open and have one-way conversations. Everyone loves the girl next door, right?

5. Get to know his friends, and ask about him. Maybe they will say something about you, and get that person thinking about you. Talk to their friends like you are already part of their friend group.

6. Like every Instagram and Facebook post; even if it is from 24 weeks ago. They will still appreciate the like.

7. If you get behind them, trip him so them can literally fall for you.

8. Now you can fall in front of them, so they can help you up.

9. Find out their favorite color, and wear it every day.

10. Key their car, and spell out your name.

11. Send them anonymous love letters at their door, or even on their desk since you are in all the same classes.

12. Hide in the garbage cans, and start collecting their trash. Soon you can collect enough to find their DNA.

13. Pay their friends and family to talk about you.

14. Face them while eating meals, so you are basically on a date.

15. Take a selfie, but make sure he is in the background. Post the selfie on Facebook and tag him in it. If he likes it, make your relationship Facebook official.

Seriously, if these don't work, you did them too lightly. Be yourself and let them know how you are feeling.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
