15 Emotions You Feel When Watching Grey's Anatomy

There's are bound to be so many emotion running through us when watching.

Huffington Post

I've watched "Grey's Anatomy" twice. I've met multiple people who have watched it over and over. I have a person, I have an Alex, I have a Richard Webber, and I have a Lexie Grey. I think it's safe to say I know what emotions occur when watching this series. So, I present to my readers exactly what happens when one watches "Grey's Anatomy".

(There are spoilers for those who have not watched!)

1. Happiness

"Everything is going so smoothly and nicely. Nothing could possibly go wrong."

The show is actually in a content moment, and everything is going so smoothly. Arizona is talking to the kids, Meredith and Derek are happy, what great everlasting moments.

2. Excitement

"Oh, they have a case! Oh, it's a good one!"

There are brief moments where excitement comes to us when watching, especially when the two characters finally get together. So when Derek finally picked Meredith, we all know we cheered, whether it be out loud or inside ourselves.

3. Gross

"Okay that's a lot of blood, a lot of something, and a whole lot of nasty."

Sometimes they give really good graphics. Like puke. *cringe* Those, "make-me-want-to-gag" kind of graphics.

4. Doctor-y

"I could definitely be a doctor from just watching this show; it looks so easy!"

Even if we can't be a doctor from watching this show, we all know we think we can. We've probably all wanted to make a Vine or short video of us pretending to do some doctor-y shit.

5. Lust

Let's just list them off: McDreamy, McSteamy, Avery, Alex Hunt, Hunt's new Nemesis Riggs, and even George. Man, did they pick out good men when casting.

6. Curiosity

"Okay, are they going to get married today or is there going to be another case that hold it back? Are they finally going to talk or is another case going to get in the way?"

Honestly, we all wonder when the big happy moments are going to come back into the show.

7. Fear

"OH MY GOD WILL THEY FIND MEREDITH IN THE WATER? WILL THEY FIND THEM IN THE WOODS? WILL THEY SAVE DEREK? SAVE THE BABY!!"

Man, do they give us panic some episodes.

8. Sadness/ Massive tears

"Wait, really? They're dead? What have we done to deserve this?!"

No one knows why they decided to kill off our favorite characters. Unless they truly want us to be in a pool of sadness. When Meredith put on Derek's scrub cap, that's when the tears started to flow.

9. Denial

"They are not dead. They did not take Zola. Everything will be okay (it won't really)."

We don't really wanna expect the bad until the characters themselves admit to it.

10. Anger

"Okay, Shonda. Let's stop doing this to us now."

This is basically the emotion that is directly related to Shonda. How could she do that to us? To the characters? Does she know what she is doing? She's messing it all up. She can't do this, but she can because the is the creator. A rude, evil, hope crushing creator. (We also love her for creating the show. Props to her).

11. Disappointment

"Come on Derek! Man up!"

Basically every-time they all have an option to make a big move, they don't. Like, how hard can it be to just pick Meredith. She said, "Pick me. Choose me." She was right there and he just he did nothing. Gosh!

12. Hope

"Oh, he is finally going to pick her!"

And then Addison comes sweeping back in. Alright, okay, there goes my hope. But for real, there is hope when they finally agree on the relationship or when the patient pulls through, but mostly when they get together.

13. Happy tears

Sometimes it just hits the feels every time Christina needs Meredith, or when Alex needs Meredith, or just when THEY JUST ALL LOVE EACH OTHER. Such good friendships. I wish I had the kind of friendship they all did.

14. Love

Honestly, how can we not love the characters and their relationship? Meredith and Derek are goals, during the show and outside the show; they are perfect for each other. Lexi and Marc basically were bae.

Dr. Bailey is the greatest, her son is so cute, and she named her son after George!

15. Okay, it's all okay.

Honestly, how can we function after all these emotions? We just have to take the episodes as they come. Just take it all in and take deep breathes. It'll all be okay soon. Maybe not too soon, but the happy times will come. Eat some chocolate, calm down, and start another episode.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
