We are now approaching the tail of this year. All throughout 2017, there are numerous songs that accompany me go through highs and lows. For me, one meaningful song is like a time capsule in which I travel with the melody and lyrics.

It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum.
