College can be both a difficult and exciting time for many people. It comes with both its ups and its downs. These are many of the things one may experience through college as expressed through "Adventure Time" gifs.

1. When you're trying to study, but your roommate won't stop bothering you.

It is 1 a.m. and that test is tomorrow. You cannot deal with their nonsense right now.

2. Whenever you see a sign advertising free food.

You are on a budget and have been exclusively surviving on ramen noodles.

3. When your professor tells you that your tests still haven't been graded.

It has been more than a month, and you've completely forgotten what you even wrote.

4. When you get assigned a creepy roommate.

They have no chill, and you have never been more disturbed.

5. When your friend is a science major.

They don't actually know what sleep is and have only heard rumors of it.

6. When you get the freshman 15.

The food at your college is really good, and you honestly don't care anymore.

7. When it's flu season, and a classmate coughs near you.

You've been trying so hard not to get sick, but everyone around you is sick. There is no escape.

8. Whenever a person you hate talks in class.

They may even be making a really good point, but it doesn't matter because they are terrible.

9. When a professor makes an assignment due sooner.

You have three other classes and multiple assignments. You do not have time for this.

10. When you fail a class and contemplate dropping out of college.

You start to wonder whether you actually need college and whether it's all worth it.

11. When you use big words in class to cover up the fact that you have no idea what's going on.

You haven't been doing any of the readings, but still need to convince the professor that you're smart.

12. When you go to your first college party.

You've only been there for a half hour and you've already had too much to drink.

13. When you're trying your best to pay attention in class.

It is 8 a.m. and you can't even begin to try and understand words.

14. When you've pulled several all-nighters.

What is reality? You don't know and you're starting to believe that nothing is real.
