With Thanksgiving wrapping up, it is time to think about wrapping presents. Black Friday has passed and all mayhem has broken loose. Sometimes college students are difficult to buy for but here are fifteen things that most college students want (besides free tuition and rent).

3. Grocery gift card

4. Gas gift card

5. A winter jacket

6. A cozy, warm blanket

7. Alcohol

9. Wireless speaker

Once you really think about it, buying for a college student is easy. Getting the essentials is always safe in addition to other presents you may have gotten them. Most likely anything you get them will be safe because that means that they don't have to buy them themselves.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school.
