Kitten Rescue

About a month or so ago, I wrote an article consisting of pictures of puppies to make you feel just a little bit better (find it here). While I know that puppies are some of the most adorable creatures ever, I understand that not everyone is a dog person. Some people (myself included) like cats more.

So, if you are more of a cat person, here are some cat pictures to make you smile today.

1. This cat who's training to be the next gold medalist in Olympic Diving

2. The best present anyone could ever ask for

3. Two different colorings means twice the fun

4. Just look at those blue eyes

5. Because the best days are spent relaxing

6. Warning: this cat is pretty darn ferocious

7. Who doesn't love a grumpy cat?

8. Sometimes you just need a nap

9. The tiny legs, the belly fluff, the fangs... They kill me.

10. These cats don't quite understand football, but they're going to try their best

11. Look at those toe beans!

12. Follow your dreams as intensely as this cat

13. The realest hipster you'll ever meet

14. Everyone needs a good stretch

15. And finally, the most photogenic cat in the world (I'm not biased, I promise)

I hope these photos make you smile!

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
