I recently made the decision to focus a little less on work and a little more on myself. When I started working full-time after college, I stopped doing things I love. Now, one by one, I am picking each of them back up. I started with writing, moved onto cooking, and I've decided it's time to pick reading back up. If a book club isn't exactly your thing, I've come up with a list of books for every 20-something to pick from no matter what your interests are.

1. Bossypants by Tina Fey

2. Wild by Cheryl Strayed

3. 20 Something 20 Everything by Christine Hassler

4. F*ck! I'm In My Twenties by Emma Koenig

5. Don't Worry, It Gets Worse by Alida Nugent

6. Girls In White Dresses by Jennifer Close

7. These Girls by Sarah Pekkanan

8. Off The Menu by Stacey Ballis

9. Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

10. In The Unlikely Event by Judy Blume

11. Confess by Colleen Hoover

12. Being Brooke by Emma Hart

13.Yes Please by Amy Poehler

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
