Amazon is quickly taking over the world with how we shop. According to their press release the day after Christmas, more than 10 million new members tried Amazon Prime this past holiday season. While its true that Amazon has just about everything you could possibly want, it also has some things that you may not know you wanted. And some products that solve some pretty annoying problems. But as a broke college student, I sadly don't have the money for these handy gadgets. But maybe you do!

Check them out:

1. Cooling gel mat

So you can always sleep on the cold side of the pillow.

2. Phone magnifier

This handy device makes watching tv on your phone so much easier while your laptop is charging.

3. Pill reminder waterbottle

Remembering to take your pills is one thing, having water near by is another

4. Teeth whitening powder

The answer to your coffee-stained teeth is here!

5. Set of makeup brushes

These stylish rose gold and marble brushes will make you feel like your favorite beauty vlogger

6. Book weight

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm trying to take notes and the textbook keeps closing, this handy book weight solves that problem

7. Warming insoles

Football games anyone?

8. Phone sanitizer

Let's face it, our phones are pretty disgusting, this will sanitize your phone while charging it at the same time. It's a win-win.

9. Eye masks

These eye masks make you look like you got a full 8 hours of sleep. I got a pack of these in my FabFitFun box and I was like "yeah right I doubt these work" but one morning when I had bags under my eyes I popped them on and voila! 30 minutes later the bags were gone and my face was left feeling so refreshed.

10. Utensil cleaner

Where was this when I had no dishwasher?

11. Showerless shaving gel

We've all had those nights where we want to shave but don't want to get in the shower, problem SOLVED.

12. Headphones

These headphones are great for when you like to listen to music at night but your roommate doesn't. Or if you're watching tv in bed at night, or if its really cold outside and you want to go for a run.

13. Facial razor

These facial razors are for more than just your eyebrows. Shaving the peach fuzz or mustache off your face will make your skin softer and makeup go on smoother

14. Shower foot ledge

One of the worst parts about shaving our legs is having no place to put your foot, this handy suction cup ledge solves that problem.

15. Waterbottle that reminds you to drink water

This stylish water bottle pairs with an app on your phone and glows to remind you to drink more water. Your body will thank you.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
