Influenster is a product discovery website that consists of honest and helpful reviews. When there is a campaign, Influenster selects a group of people to send a complimentary VoxBox for sampling and reviewing purposes only. The products sent vary and depend on the campaign happening at the time. After you sample and review your products, either you throw them away or continue to use them. Thus, leaving you with an empty box. What do you do with an empty box? Here are fourteen creative ways to upcycle your Influenster VoxBox!

1. Makeup Brush Box

If you're a huge makeup brush junkie, this is the perfect idea for you! Boxes from Influenster hold brushes of all sizes and I've found that they are a perfect brush holder for overnight traveling.

2. Makeup Organizer Box

"That's one of the things I love about makeup. You can change your while attitude by just doing your eyeliner or lipstick differently." - Beyonce

I have found that makeup is my best friend, literally. Without makeup, I wouldn't feel comfortable with myself. My anxiety would be out the roof while in public without makeup. The amount of money I spend on makeup a month is ridiculous, but it helps me feel confident. Which leads me to this... how did I up-cycle my first Influenster VoxBox after sampling and reviewing the products I received? I organized all of my eyeshadow palettes and eyeliners/mascara. My eyeshadow palettes were stacked according to size and the mascara/eyeliner was placed on the main top side-by-side in a nice line. If you're anything like me, this idea is perfect for you! Not only did it hold a decent amount of products, but it was great for traveling! I just put the box in my bag and I was prepared for whatever touch-ups I had to make during the day.

3. Hair Accessory Box

Do you have a lot of bobby-pins, hair-bows, headbands, rubber-bands, etc.? If yes, then take advantage of having an empty box and use it to store all of your hair accessories!

4. Crayon Box

Can you imagine how many crayons these boxes would hold?

5. Coupon Box

If you're a maniac couponer, this is a perfect idea for you. Paperclip your coupons and set them in the box!

6. Personal Necessity Box

Whether you just need a holder at home, or something to use for traveling, this box is perfect! Store your toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, tampons, shower gel, small shampoo and conditioner, and more!

7. Toy Lego Box

If you have a small child, this would be perfect for storing toy legos! The box has to be opened and closed a particular way, so if dropped, the legos wouldn't fall out as easily as in a regular cardboard box. A tremendous amount could also be stored.

8. Toy Car Box

Does your child have too many toy cars that he or she just has to keep at all times? Place your child's favorite cars in an empty Influenster box to ensure that they never get lost!

9.Christmas Present Box

If you're one of the people that keep used gift boxes after an event, this would be a perfect idea for you! Influenster boxes can hold a pretty decent sized gift. Aside from that, it is easy to wrap and decorate!

10. Dryer Sheet Box

I love having different scented dryer sheets! Storing them all in one box makes it easy to stock up and separate scents more effectively.

12. Q-tip Box

I HAVE to have q-tips at all times! I mainly use them for makeup uses. If you're looking to stock up and store them in a place where they won't get lost, using a Influenster box is a great idea!

13. Baby Bow Box

I'm a mother and I love buying bows for my daughter! Bow holders are so expensive and for the numerous amount of bows she has, I would be out spending more money or bow holders than I do on bows. This box is perfect for storing all of her bows!

14. A Planter

Do you love gardening? If so, you'll love this idea! A small cardboard box is perfect to use as a planter if lined with plastic. Or, perhaps you may want to use it as a seed starter.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
