Being a college student is certainly a unique experience and sometimes it takes an unique person to be able to explain the struggles and accomplishments that come along the way. Behold, Michael Scott, regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch. Some of his words and moments as the "World's Best Bost" can easily relate to living life as a college student. Here are a few of the best:

1. Watching the professor put up the next slide one minute before class ends

It's a moment of panic, disappointment, and anger all mixed into one.

2. Finding out you passed a test you thought you failed for sure

It may only have been by one point, but that's progress.

3. Telling yourself that you're going to work all night, but then you watch "The Office" instead

It's not necessarily a bad thing, as long as you finished that paper that's due tomorrow.

4. Seeing your best friend after they skipped class the other day

I'm not mad at you personally; I'm mad that you left me in there all alone.

5. Sitting through any lecture

Big words at 8AM never make any sense.

6. When people are trying to get you to pay their tuition

It's a common joke among college students that should never be taken seriously.

7. Finally getting the chance to go out on a food run

Nothing is better than you and your bestie breaking free to grab some burgers and frozen yogurt.

8. Finding out the class you need is only offered at 8AM

This is a moment that should never be wished upon anyone, not even your worst enemy.

9. Trying to make the length requirements on a paper

You just have to add a ton of fancy words and hope for the best.

10. Remembering that part of your grade is participation and attentiveness in class

Suddenly you perk up, wipe the drool from your mouth, and scribble something in your notebook.

12. Trying to be the life of the party on the weekends

It's time to let loose, go crazy, and regret it all Monday morning.

13. Remembering that napping wasn't part of your schedule today

Because a 15 minute cat-nap always turns into an hour long snooze.

14. Making it to the end of the semester in one piece

Only a few tears were shed along the way, but you made it!

As many college students say, college is a series of ups and downs, good days and bad days, challenges and achievements. Whenever the pressure is getting to be too much, put down the textbook and flip on your favorite show. Maybe it's about a paper company in Scranton, and maybe it isn't. But take the time to relax, get inspired, and then hopefully find your way back to your work. If not, there's always tomorrow!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
