It can hit you at any time. It probably already has and you may not even be a senior yet. That feeling that you “literally just can’t” with school anymore and need graduation to come ASAP. This, however, does not mean that you are ready in the slightest to go out into the real world, you just cannot bring yourself to care about certain things anymore that you used to spend so much time on. There is no doubt in your mind that you most definitely have been hit with senioritis.

1. You go to the gym to avoid doing homework.

Because somehow that seems more enticing.

2. You order out more often than making the trek to the dining commons.

Because it’s so convenient and you can stay in your pajamas you’ve already changed back into.

3. You bring your laptop to the library, but end up binge watching netflix instead of studying.

Don’t worry, we’ve all done it.

4. You write a paper in an hour or two and turn it in without editing it.

As long as you pass the class, right? You just do not care enough.

5. You research jobs or internships you can’t even apply to yet instead of doing homework.

While you may not want to actually go into the real world, it makes you feel like you’re being productive.

6. You calculate how many classes you can safely skip before affecting your grade.

Especially early classes on Mondays and Fridays. They just don’t stand a chance.

7. You do your homework about an hour before class, if it all.

Most likely because you forgot and your friend reminded you by asking a question about it.

8. You’ve doubled the amount of alarms it takes to wake up.

Your bed is just too comfy and inviting to get out of just to go to class.

9. You spend your time decorating for the holidays instead of doing work.

Because obviously having the most festive common room and snapchatting it is far more important than studying for your exam the next day.

10. You have no shame going to class 20 minutes late because you need to get coffee.

If you’re going to have to sit through a morning class, you are going to need some caffeine in your system. There’s no way around it.

11. You come up with every excuse not to meet with your project group.

Even though they text the group chat incessantly to set up a meeting time everyone can make it.

12. You call home more often than ever.

It’s always good to have a three hour life chat with mom every day, isn't it?

13. You take more naps than you did when you were in kindergarten.

Because you need them.

14. You can hardly plan what you’re doing next weekend, let alone after graduation.

You just don’t want to adult quite yet.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
