It's FINALLY December. You know what that means.

It means that finals week is lurking around the corner. It means that suddenly we have 910493104 things due in two weeks. It means that sleeping will suddenly NOT be an option.

Let's be real. You're probably supposed to be reading the last five chapters of your history book right? Or you're supposed to be finishing that online homework due at 11:59 p.m. right? You're not REALLY supposed to be reading this, aren't you?

Well, I say take a break!

You are probably wanting something to cheer you up or even motivate you, so are some stages of finals week explained by what was once best known to ourselves as the best show on television, "That's So Raven".

1. When your professor starts to remind you that the semester is almost over when it literally started, like, a week ago

2. When you start to look at your agenda and see that you have 4 papers due, 5 exams to study for, and 1 group project all in the same week

3. But then you realize that you can't start mentally breaking down now

4. You decide you need to squad up with friends and start study groups

5. When your family members tell you you're over exaggerating about having too much school work

6. When you're two weeks before the death week and you still can't take your classes seriously

7. When your driving to school the week before Finals week and it hits you

8. When you and your friends realize you can't even leave the dorm or library to eat because you have 92049 things to review

9. When you finally leave the dorm after being locked in your dorm and feel like everything has changed with your absence

10. When you've consumed so much coffee per day that you start to consider yourself to actually be coffee

11. When it's T-Minus 2 days before Finals week begins

12. When the professor gives you last minute chances for some extra credit

13. When it's Actually Finals Week

14. FINALLY LEAVING YOUR FINAL CLASS AND ENDING THE SEMESTER

For everyone out there who is reading this when they are really supposed to be working on their final study guide, I hope I inspired you to go out there and finish this semester as strong as Raven!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
