14 Times The Belcher Children Summed Up Your Finals Week

The Belcher children are probably the most relatable trio on television, so who better than to describe Final's Week like this group of rambunctious pre-teens?

1. When you just want to start the exam but the professor is taking forever to give instructions and announcements.

2. When the professor says you can use notes on the exam and there's that one kid that shows up noteless and you just know they're going to fail.

3. You get back from going to the bars with your friends and you remember you have a test in the morning you forgot to study for.

4. When your friend suggests you take a break from studying at 1:00 AM and get Taco Bell.

5. Then you crash from your Taco Bell high and have to start studying again.

5. When you're having a conversation with someone about the content you don't understand and they can explain it to you better than the professor.

6. You are pretty sure you're going to fail, so you pray to any deity you can think of just to help slide yourself into passing range; Even early-90s R&B Divas.

7. You know you're desperate when you're willing to flirt with your professors and your TA's in the hope of a grade boost.

8. You after a study session when you had absolutely no idea what anyone was talking about.

9. When you resort to begging to get that C up to an A .

10. When someone tells you that you should just suck it up and take the C.

10. When you're so exhausted from pulling all-nighters for a week that you adopt Tina's addiction to espresso.

11. When the professor reminds you the final is cumulative.

12. Literally how you are functioning until the semester is officially over and it's summer.

13. But then you remember summer classes start a week after finals and you're trying to keep it together but it isn't working.

14. But you know you'll make it to graduation - even if it kills you.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
