If you have a job or internship I'm sure you've experienced the misery of adulting that I have this past summer. Beautiful days wasted inside, impressing impossible bosses, etc. Here's 14 things I'm sure you've been thinking this summer.

1. Awake for another day

2. Five more minutes, then I'll get up

3. *35 minutess of looking at memes pass* OK, now I'll get up.

4. Just enough time to eat!

5. *Takes all the time left to get ready* OK now I have to go get food on the way LOL

6. *Spends $20 on a Starbucks drink and breakfast* LOL it's fine I have more money (maybe) (NVM I don't think so).

7. Wow I love walking outside and into the fiery pits of hell.

8. My ice coffee melted in 15 seconds flat that's a new record.

9. *gets to work two minutes late even though woke up two hours ago* This seems about right. I'm OK with this.

10. Wow, seems like I've been working a lot. What time is it? *11:30*

11. *lunch time* Puts face into salad.

12. *falls asleep at desk*

13. *does 10 minutes of work* I should reward myself and text until I leave!

14. Wow, another successful day of being a working adult. I don't know how people do this every day. I'm gonna go back to bed.

Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. "The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
