App State

It's that time of year again at Appalachian State; the time when all you want to do is lay in your bed but instead, you must brave the snow and wind and walk to class in a literal blizzard. Just think, you will actually be able to tell your children you walked to school uphill, both ways, in the snow. How fun is that?!

1. OMG snow is forecast for the next three days!

2. You secretly are hoping for no school but, in reality, you know there will be class.

3. You wake up five times in the middle of the night and checks email religiously for class cancellations.

4. Your alarm goes off and no emails have been received.

What.A.Time.To.Be.Alive.

5. What is the Chancellor thinking? There's a foot of snow outside.

6. Wow, I really love the arctic blast that just hit my face when I opened the door.

.

7. I'm gonna to bust it on this ice and then I'll freeze to death.

8. Why is the snow hitting my face in all directions?!

9. This has to 100 percent be how living in Siberia feels.

10. Why didn't I go to a beach school like Wilmington?

11. My ears are literally frozen, they're going to break off.

12. I thought we lived in the South, though?

13. I see the building! I made it!

14. You walk up to the classroom and there's a note on the door cancelling class.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?

College is a time of gaining independence, exploring new things, and copious amounts of Netflix. If you're like me, you often find yourself laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of the situations you find yourself in. Here are ten times Bob's Burgers accurately captured college life.

Theater Kids

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

You never know what's going to happen when you're dealing with theatre or what kind of characters you'll encounter. We have too much fun doing anything! One time in my senior year acting class, we spent an entire class period watching Bob's Burgers, and it was the greatest class period ever.
