Still stumped on what to do to celebrate Valentine's Day? Well, see below for ways that will surely wow your significant other. And don't worry, I didn't forget about the single guys and gals out there. These events don't require a partner!

1. Get flowers.

What better way to say my love for you is eternal than with something that will wilt in a couple days, right? This gesture isn't just reserved for couples, single people can get flowers for themselves too! You know what type of flowers you like, they smell great, look pretty and flowers won't give you judging looks as you spend Valentine's Day at home watching Netflix.

2. Eat a lot of chocolate.

Science has proven that chocolate can release happy neurotransmitters like endorphins and serotonin (known as an anti-depressant) which can reduce stress levels and lead to feelings of euphoria. Since the love is the reason for the season, it's obvious why couples would give chocolate to each other as gifts. It's also a great treat for single guys and gals because if you're surrounded by the increased amount of PDA this weekend, you're going to need a lot of happy to get you through.

3. Have a night out.

Many people like to go out and treat themselves on Valentine's day, and who wouldn't? Many restaurants and bars have great V-Day courses and drink deals. Couples and single people alike can have a great time enjoying good food and good company. Grab your significant other or a group of single friends and paint the town red!

4. Take a new class.

Knowledge is power, and what better way to spend time with your significant other than by learning something new? A quick search on Google will come up with different classes like cooking, mixology, dance, and improv among other things. Many places offer discounted couples classes so both of you can have fun and pick up a new skill! This is also great for singles to meet new people and get some knowledge.

5. Travel.

If you've got the money for it, traveling is an unforgettable way to spend Valentine's Day. Even if you're on a tight budget, you can go on a day trip to another city and see the sights with your loved one. When you're single, traveling can be great -- you can choose where you go and do what you want without worrying about ruining someone else's trip.

6. Get tickets for an event.

Find something that you and you're boyfriend or girlfriend would like to go to like a concert, play, or sports game and get tickets. Single people don't need to worry about finding someone to go with either, just grab a ticket for yourself. When you get to the event, you'll meet new people with common interests.

7. Get a massage.

If going out and traveling seems exhausting to you or you would just like to relax this weekend, a more tranquil way to spend Valentine's Day is to go and get a massage. A massage is one of the many ways to treat yourself that doesn't require a partner, although there are great deals for couples who want to get a massage.

8. Go to a museum.

As with taking a class, going to museums is a great and often cheap way to spend V-Day by yourself, with friends, or with your partner. Museums are full of cool and interesting artifacts from ancient times and different cultures. Find a local museum with an exhibit that you would like to go to and get educated!

9. Head outdoors.

If you and the one you love aren't into the bar scene, you could head to the great outdoors for the holiday. Depending on what part of country you're on, you can head to the beach, go hiking or rock climbing, or go skiing or snowboarding. It's a great way to spend time with each other and stay active. These activities are also great for single friends to hang out with each other.

10. Go on a picnic.

Having a picnic is a classic and romantic way to spend Valentine's day. The best part is, everyone -- whether in a relationship or single -- can enjoy it! You can plan a romantic meal or make it a potluck. You can enjoy the scenery and watch clouds go by in a vintage fashion.

11. Pizza.

Cheesy, greasy deliciousness. Need I say more?

12. Stay home.

With all the pressure of going out and spending money on something extravagant, most people overlook what Valentine's Day is all about -- love. So, just staying at home is a great way to spend time with your partner -- or by yourself. It's a quiet, intimate setting and you don't have to dress up and waste all that time getting somewhere. You can cook a meal at home and enjoy the little things.

13. Dinner and a movie.

When all else fails, just look to the classic dinner and a movie. Pick a place you both love and a theater showing a cool movie. And who says this is just for couples? I say single people should be able to treat themselves to a nice dinner and be able to watch a movie alone in peace.

14. Whatever you want to do!

I know, I know, you were thinking there was going to some awesome idea that trumps the rest at the end, right? Nope. You know what you and your loved one like best, besides why would you listen to a total stranger?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
