The holiday season is full of many long drives whether it be to and from college, or to various relatives all over the place. Here are some in-car activities to pass the countless hours.

1. Sleep

Sleep is a beautiful thing, and with finals coming up soon, you'll need all the sleep you can get.

2. Study

Speaking of finals, now would be a good time to start thinking about that.

3. Crochet

It's easier than knitting, and you can make Christmas presents!

4. Watch Netflix

If you have a lot of data or if your bus has Wifi, you can download the app to your phone! Or, more old school, you could watch DVDs on your laptop.

5. Read

Reading is good for the brain and the soul. Grab a book and see if you can read the whole thing during your drive.

6. Drive

Offer to take the wheel for a bit and give the driver a break. They'll appreciate it.

7. Sew

Grab a felt sewing kit from a craft store and make a stocking! You'll seem very crafty and you'll have a nice time.

8. Talk

Talk to your family, but maybe stay away from more argumentative topics.

9. Journal

If you remember a pen and a journal, you can start writing your memoir like you've always meant to.

10. Color

Less work than journaling or crocheting but still artistic and fun!

11. Shop

Get on the Amazon app and start buying some Christmas presents!

12. Music

Listen to some new artists and songs and relish the free time to enjoy them.

13. Meditate

It's like sleeping but cooler! Practice some mindfulness before you're confronted with extended family.

14. Pinterest

Plan your wedding, look at food, lust over clothes and cry over cute animals. You can get lost on Pinterest for hours, no problem.

Drive safely!

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

CSU

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
