Freaking News

There are many reasons to pay attention to politics these days. It seems like every time one turns on the television or logs onto Facebook (and of course, Twitter), politics is all anyone ever wants to talk about. It makes people aggressive, frustrated, and sometimes overwhelmed. Many discussions end in arguments and people just get upset.

Today, is your lucky day. This article has nothing to do with politics whatsoever.

Instead, I have compiled a list of things that you can direct your attention to, instead of the current political climate, and let me tell you, there are many marvelous things in store for you.

1. The Ed Sheeran/Teletubbies dance video.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, please go look it up right now.

2. The Walking Dead comes back on February 12th.

How many more people can you kill in just half a season?

3. Catching up on the Walking Dead because you want to watch the second half of this season.

4. Celebrating because all previous seasons of the Walking Dead are on Netflix.

5. Netflix in general.

Blessed.

6. Watching all the Oscar movies before the ceremony.

Moonlight, Hacksaw Ridge, La La Land, and Hidden Figures are just a few of the great ones.

7. Watching the Oscars ceremony on February 26th.

So many famous people to see all in just one night!

8. Watching the Oscars just to see what everyone is wearing.

Many people don't actually go and see the Oscar nominated movies; they really only watch for the outfits, and for good reasons.

9. Deciding how to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Yay for expressions of love!

10. Alternately, deciding how to NOT celebrate Valentine's Day.

You can just express love for yourself.

11. Monitoring the orange alligator situation in South Carolina.

Enough said.

12. Your family and friends.

13. Buzzfeed quizzes.

Asking the burning questions.

14. Cute animals.

Look at that face.
