God bless the group text...

Lately my friends and I have been talking about where we are going to go on our next break from school. Mind you, we have a few months, but with Fall break and Christmas break and Spring break coming up in the next few months, there's a lot of planning to do and decisions to be made. After all, we're all on a college budget but want the most for our buck. And it goes without saying we want to have the most fun possible. If you've ever tried to plan a trip with your girlfriends it probably went something like this...

1. That one girl steps up and takes one for the team

2. Even if it means she'll put all the expenses on her card up front

3. And she's always sending annoying messages and reminders in the group text

4. But there's that one friend who literally never knows what's going on EVEN THOUGH SHE IS ALSO IN THE GROUP TEXT

5. And she asks one million questions and everyone just replies "scroll up"

6. And then you have the whole roommate dilemma

7. Because there's that one girl that no one wants to sleep with because she steals all the covers

8. And everyone wants to know what everyone else is packing

9. Because you don't know if you should bring one pair of flats and all wedges or if you should have an equal number of both

10. And you've also got to know if people are wearing jean shorts and cute tops or if people are wearing casual cute dresses. Very different.

Yes I know I used this GIF earlier, I just feel like it's so relatable.

11. The group text is blowing up with pictures

12. And you're probably Snapchatting one girl a video of your room getting destroyed by all of the clothes on your floor

13. The day finally comes where you're leaving for the big trip and someone is late (Probably the same girl who wasn't reading the group message...)

14. And you either miss your flight completely or everyone is so rushed that morale of the group has gone way down

15. But then you get to where you're going, the stress is gone, and everyone is just happy to be there

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
