Going to a Justin Bieber concert is quite the amazing and unforgettable experience. This past weekend I saw him at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This being the third concert of his that I have gone to, I sort of thought I knew what was coming and what to expect, but once I actually got there, I realized I can never truly mentally prepare myself for his concerts, as weird as that may sound. I had bought the tickets in November... so November to July is a very long time to be excited for a concert. When the day finally came though, there were so many emotions that were happening throughout the day it was hard to stay focused. The whole entire day I could literally only think about how much I wanted it to be later in the day and how excited I was for this concert to finally be happening that night. Here's a concert day in the life of a big Bieber fan.
1. Waking up in the morning and realizing the day has FINALLY arrived after months of anticipation.
2. Waiting for the time to pass during the day like
Knowing it is so soon made it even harder to wait.
3. Finally being able to get ready for the concert like:
You might have had your outfit planned for weeks.
4. Arriving at the arena and realizing what is happening in a very short amount of time
This is an extremely accurate representation of how I felt the entire day.
5. Walking in the arena to get your tickets scanned
Or maybe running very eagerly in the arena to get your tickets scanned...
6. Taking a quick glance at the merchandise prices
One hundred dollars for sweatpants is NOT OK...
7. But still splurging for a t-shirt...
Is it too late now to say sorry? (I had to).
8. Finding your seats quickly and seeing the stage for the first time
It's almost Bieber time...
9. Having to sit through the openers
Kind of getting too impatient at this point.
10. When the lights go down and he's about to come out:
Too much happiness.
11. When you finally see him
Real tears will likely be shed.
12. The entire concert
I have never felt more connected to a minion.
13. When he sings "Sorry"
14. Having to leave the arena
As always, Justin put on an amazing show for the packed arena with great dancing and vocals that sounded as beautiful as ever. The whole arena really felt like a giant dance party the entire time, and Justin seemed to really be having a lot of fun on stage too. If you ever get the chance to see him in concert, do not pass the opportunity up, I promise you will not regret it.
