I don't know about the rest of you, but when I think of fall, I do not think of pumpkin spice lattes, new classes and the changing colors of the leaves. No no, my friends, my favorite season is this- fall premiere season. Ah yes, when the shows we know and love, and the ones we're hoping to come to love, all grace us with their presence on the beautiful flat screen. Or, for the broke college student holed up in a dorm, the tiny computer screen. Here's a list of all the show's we'll be using to procrastinate our homework.

1. The Voice

Premieres: August 21

The eleventh season of the reality singing competition will star Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys as it’s judges.


2. The Good Place

Premieres: September 19

Our favorite sassy blonde, Kristen Bell, returns to TV with this new comedy about a woman who, after a freak accident causes her death, realizes that the leaders of the afterlife believe her to be someone totally different.


3. Scream Queens

Premieres: September 20

This killer horror comedy returns for a killer second season with the Chanels taking on a strange hospital where some of the weirdest and most unnatural cases are handled.


4. This Is Us

Premieres: September 20

This dramedy series intertwines the lives of many different people, all with the same birthday, all facing difficult and challenging life circumstances.


5. Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X

Premieres: September 21

Season thirty-three of the reality competition focuses on the divide of age- Millennials and Gen X-ers.


6. Empire

Premieres: September 21

The popular musical drama returns for a third season with the cast dealing with the cliffhanger ending of season 2- who died?


7. Designated Survivor

Premieres: September 21

In this political drama, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is named the new President of the United States of America after an explosive terrorist attacks leave the President and every other member of the Cabinet dead.


8. Notorious

Premieres: September 22

This drama focuses on the relationship between an attorney and television producer as they work together to manipulate the media and it’s audience.


9. How To Get Away With Murder

Premieres: September 22

Season three of this drama follows Annalise Keating as she and the team tackle more cases and introduce a new mystery for the cast.


10. Pitch

Premieres: September 22

This sports drama will follow Ginny Baker as she attempts to navigate her life as the first woman pitcher signed to play Major League Baseball with the San Diego Padres.


11. Quantico

Premieres: September 25

The second season of this political thriller will follow Alex as she trades in her FBI badge for the CIA, working through her relationships as her life takes this new direction.


12. Conviction

Premieres: October 3

Former first daughter and reckless attorney Hayes is blackmailed into leading a team of experts who examine legal cases where the defendants were wrongly convicted.


13. Grey’s Anatomy

Premieres: September 22

The thirteenth season of the most popular medical drama on television is said to pull in it’s reigns, focusing more on Meredith, Alex and the rest of the original cast.


14. Superstore

Premieres: September 22

Season two of this comedy will follow the team of Cloud 9 as they work in the chaotic and quirky environment of a big-box superstore.
