John Edmund Mulaney. This man has graced our televisions and computer screens for a total of 11 years now, constantly coming up with new comedic content that has us roaring with laughter. He has the type of sarcastic, self-deprecating humor that resonates well with audiences, especially college students. Among the plethora of hilarious relatable quotable John Mulaney moments, there are some that translate perfectly to college life.

1. When you learn to accept the awkward moments:

There comes a point where you're able to find the comfort within the discomfort and just laugh at all of the awkward moments that come your way...because there will be a lot more to come.

2. The constant struggle:

College is full of, "I'm a broke college student" moments, and the lack of financial stability causes stress on top of the other stress we have within our classes, our social lives, and so on. At least we're able to make fun of ourselves for it!

3. When you text your friend and cancel the plans you had because you just don't feel like leaving your bed:

There really is something about cancelling plans that is so freeing. Sometimes we feel pressured to go out and spend time with people because we technically have no reason not to. The truth of the matter is: sometimes we just don't feel like it...and that's okay!! Some of the best nights are spent at home alone burritoed in your bed watching Netflix.

4. When you've had a long, tough day:

Whether you didn't do as well on a test, have a ton of homework waiting for you when you get home, or any other reason under the sun, we all have these moments.

5. When you have discussions in your classes:

6. When all of your assignments pile up and you look at your to-do list like...

"...that you would do anything is totally remarkable."

7. When you realize you completely forgot to do an assignment and your grade suffers:

The worst part is that you would have done it had you known/remembered.

8. When someone asks you what's wrong and you don't want to talk about it:

9. When you reminisce about Freshman year:

But so was everyone! It's easy to see the error of your ways now, but you were new to the whole college scene when you were a Freshman, so it's understandable that you had some mess-ups here and there.

10. When you see your ex around campus after things didn't end well:

Even on large campuses it's easy to run into people you know; even exes. For the smaller schools, more awkward moments may lay ahead.

11. When your professor gives you a vague assignment and doesn't explain it:

Yes, because the entire class can read minds.

12. When you get critiqued on your work in one of your classes:

Constructive criticism is actually a wonderful thing. However, there are times where you may be critiqued on something that you felt particularly proud of.

13. Snow days:

There's something about waking up to that cancellation email that brings pure bliss. If you check your Snapchat the morning of a snow day, you will see Snapchat stories galore. Snow days are the best kind of days. They're either an excuse to do nothing, or a reason to catch up on some work.

14. Your new adult mentality:

Constant stimulation can get exhausting after a while, which is why these kind of weekends are often times the best kind of weekends.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
