The countdown for Thanksgiving break has begun. The fourth Thursday of November can't come at a more perfect time, the time of year when you just need a break from school and work. Making memories year after year, Thanksgiving is one of the greatest holidays.
1. Spending much needed time with family and friends.
2. Thanksgiving food is the best food.
3. Relaxing on the couch watching football and movies.
4. Sporting your stretch pants for days at a time.
5. The irreplaceable satisfaction of sleeping in your own bed.
6. The annual attempt to do a little workout before the feast.
7. Blackout Wednesday is very anticipated.
8. The chaos that is Black Friday shopping.
9. Reunited with your pets.
10. Five days of not even thinking about school work.
11. Leftovers for days.
12. Family games you know eventually turn into quarrels.
13. Since 1924, the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
14. The end of No Shave November.
15. You are truly thankful and blessed.
Thanksgiving brings family and friends together. Take time to reflect on the good in your life. Be thankful for the simple things because one day those simple things may not be there and in reality the simple things are the realest of them all. Stop thinking about what you don't have and be thankful for what you do have. Taste the good food you consume on Thanksgiving and live in the moment. Happy Thanksgiving!
