College is a time in which people often spend partying and having a good time. Partying can be a great time, as long as you know when enough is enough. But this article is talking about frat parties or house parties or even cocktail parties. This article is about dorm parties, which shouldn't even be a thing. But here are some reasons why it's just plain idiotic to be involved in any way with a dorm room party.

1. It's tiny

Do you realize how small your dorm room is?!?!? Even if you have a bigger dorm room, it's probably still tiny for more than like 7 people.

2. Your RA lives on the floor

If your dorm is like most normal dorms, you probably have something like a resident advisor for your floor that will notice if you're having a party.

3. Think of that cleaning

Remember the next morning that you have to clean up everything that happens during that party, just like any normal party.

4. You can get in huge trouble

If you get caught drinking in the dorms when you are underage then you can seriously mess up your future.

5. Alcohol is expensive

If you are having a party in your dorm, then you probably would need alcohol and that costs money that you probably don't have.

6. IT IS SO TINY

Dorms are literally usually only a room, why would you ever want to have a party in a small ass room?

7. Things could easily get stolen

Since your dorm is only basically a room, it's very difficult to hide your valuables.

8. It'll be boring as hell

Unless you're about to go all out and have the best party ever, it'll probably end up being pretty terrible. You don't wanna be the person that's known for having bad parties.

9. There will be other parties

If you want to party that badly you could probably easily go out and find one that's going on that isn't in a dorm.

10. Your roommate(s) will probably hate you

If your roommate isn't in full support of the party, they will probably be so angry about the fact that it is happening.

11. Why would you ever want that many people in your dorm?

If you're having a legit party, you're bound to have quite a few people there and there is absolutely no reason to have that many people in one room.

12. Stains

Do you really want people spilling their drinks in your dorm and ruining your stuff?

13. Random people

This coincides with losing your valuables, random people that you don't know are bound to hear about this party. Which means that they will show up and you don't want them in your dorm.

14. There are no good reasons that dorm parties should happen

Dorm parties sound like one of the worst ideas ever and there literally can be no good outcome to having one. Wait until you have your own house or apartment to have an actual party.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
