Dear fall semester, I adore you so much. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't excited for our third encounter; I mean you hold so many great things! Classes start, daily trips to the library, stress eating, Netflix binging to avoid classwork responsibilities, and the list could go on! Oh wait, it does!

1. Walking into the wrong class

This is not the first time and it is for sure not going to be the last.

2. Countless hours spent in the lib

Monday through Thursday, if I'm not in class I am most definitely in the library.

3. Missing tailgates and football games because of work

Need. Money. But. Want. To. Have. Fun.

4. Long walks on campus in the cold

It always seems that on the coldest day of the semester I am stuck running around campus like a chicken with my head cut off.

5. Group projects

The two most hated words a professor could say, am I right?

6. Rushing, but I really mean running to class because you couldn’t find a parking spot

Well two people stole my first two parking spots and then I was left to find yet another one, at the busiest time of the day.

7. Staring at a blank Word document

This paper isn’t going to write itself, I think to myself 1000 times before I can even come up with the title.

8. Exam week

This is inevitable, but it’s not like we ask for it.

9. Seeing that one person you wish you could avoid the rest of your life

Two things: head down and swerve.

10. Slipping on ice

Please tell me that none of you saw this…

11. Losing in the first round of IM playoffs

This is the Olympic games themselves, losing is just not an option.

12. Using all of your Flex Dollars before November

I guess I shouldn’t have gotten Subway, Einstein Brothers, Starbucks and Down Under twice this week…

13. Never sleeping

It gets hard juggling school and work and a social life and more school.

14. Everywhere delivers

This really isn't a bad thing until I look at my bank account...

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
