14 Reasons Dogs Should live Forever

1. They have hearts made of gold

Since about the beginning of time, dogs have been mans best friend. Every day, they continue to prove to us that they will always be there for us through heartfelt actions of love. If you look deep enough into a dogs eyes, you can see that they are full of love and a kind spirit.

2. They can be trained to aid those with disabilities

As if dogs weren't already good enough, they can help those with disabilities through everyday life. It can be hard to not pet them when they walk by on the street, but they are doing an important job.

3. They're always happy to see you

Aside from being home, the best thing about coming home is coming back to your dog who is just as excited, if not more excited than you are. Some of the best dog videos are dogs either being reunited with their owners or smelling their owners in the house after months of them being away.

4. They're adorable

Doggos are one of the greatest gifts to man, aside from cats. They range from little balls of fuzz to massive structures of fluff. Dogs also have some of the most beautiful eyes, filled with love and kindness.

We may miss our dogs when they're gone, but our dogs will always miss us more. They may be here for only part of our lives, but to them we are there for all of their life,

6. They're entertaining

From the derp moments to the ninja warrior reflexes, dogs will brighten up every day of your life whether they try to or not.

7. They help law enforcement

Not all dogs have super powers like Underdog and Krypto the Super Dog, but they will do whatever they can to help us stop crime. This is another reason dogs have pure souls, they dedicate their lives to helping another species with their problems.

8. Great with kids

If you're scared that your dog won't get along with your kid and you might have to get rid of it, just stop now because if anything it's going to be the kid that has the problem.

9. Great with other animals

Not only do dogs take care of their own, but they also take care of others. Some dogs have even taken kittens into their families, raising the kitten to think that they too are a dog.

10. Basically a part of the family

Dogs are basically one of the kids in a family environment. You may even sometimes forget that they aren't your own.

11. Great memes

Without even trying, a dog could become an internet sensation from simple facial response or reaction.

12. They can learn words

Whether they hear you say "walk", "dog park", or "ride", you're sure to get a hyperactive positive response. Can't say the same about "the vet" though...

13. They can be relateable

Whether it's from how your dog handles a situation to how they react to something, there's some way you can relate to your dog.

14. Part of the community

When you have a dog, chances are you're not the only one that loves your dog. Your neighbors, coworkers, or even random people on the street will also love your dog.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
