I'm definitely not the only human being who feels like breaks just don't seem to be as break-ful as they once were. It's much more exciting to leave school for sleep than to leave school for partying or anything of the sort. Here are some possible clarifiers for why time off almost feels like the same old school and work grind, only with the added burden of pleasing that good 'ol bloodline at home.
1. You get way too pumped about all the things you want to do, then they come a crumblin' down.
2. There are no friends/more-than-friends around
3. You left your PS4 at school. Bbbbuuuuummmmmmmmeeeeerrrrrrr
4. You left your Xbox One at school.
5. If you brought a Wii U to school, you’re invited to the party.
6. Your body doesn’t have enough time to tell you to stop college-ing. You’re back before you settle back home on the prairie!
7. There is entirely too much tuna. Home cooking is great, but you may have to get re-used to the idea of not being able to sit at the same table for every meal and still be served everything from tacos to tapioca.
8. Everyone constantly asks you about the hell from which you just barely escaped.
9. Constant email and other social reminders about aforementioned hell.
10. Bills to pay for you to keep subjecting yourself to hell.
11. You can’t watch "Footloose" on loop when there are other house-viewers to please.
12. No excuse to not sweat a little.
13. Actually, even more reasons to sweat a little. You probably don’t have to walk nearly as much. If you do, ignore this and jump to #14.
14. Your home life drains you more than your school life.
