2016 has been rich so far in presidential memes as we all try to distract ourselves from the devastation and destruction that will be the Presidential Election in November. What a time to be alive.

There are actually thousands of 2016 presidential memes out there, but here are a few that went viral.

1. How the Democratic candidates fare on the issues that matter.

Harry Potter isn't the only issue this meme covers. From sleep to Pepe the Frog, this meme never stops me from laughing.

2. The Trump wall

You know, like Jaws? This meme is hilarious because it's spoofing one of the best movies ever made.

3. Zodiac killer

Honestly, the proof is all there. Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer, why else would he drop out...

4. The truth hidden beneath Trump's head of hair.

Another Harry Potter meme, this one seems very plausable.

5. The Bernie 'Lemonade' album cover

Beyonce is a very strong woman, Bernie is a strong man. What better meme than this?

6. Baby Hands Trump

Even better than Deadpool's baby hands, although Trump acts like a baby all around.

7. Birdie Sanders

Watching the bird meme unfold was like opening your favorite book.

8. Hillary pandering for votes

Hillary will do anything for votes, even if it means putting hot sauce in her bag, swag.

9. The hair that ran away

Trump's hair deserves a better life than sitting lank on his head, don't you think?

10. Professor Trumpbridge

Yet another Harry Potter meme, this one seems to be the most accurate.

This is what nightmares are made of, I'm sure of it.

12. Ted Cruz is Kevin from 'The Office'. Wake up, America.

Kevin does not deserve this mistreatment, do you hear me?

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

13. In the end, you feel on top of the world because you made it through the last week of class alive.

14. But, now it's finals week so good luck.
