Living near Atlanta, sometimes you forget how much there is to do in the city. There sure are a lot of hidden gems. Whether it's shopping, eating, spending time outside, or just exploring, there are plenty of things to do in Atlanta this summer. Make a weekend of it, or just go to these places whenever you get a free day. Here are some of the coolest places you can go in Atlanta, Georgia this summer:

1. Ponce City Market

This place is full of unique shops. Go take a walk around and grab yourself some lunch at one of the many restaurants inside the market.

2. The Fox Theater


Get all dressed up and go to this classical theater for a night out on the town.

3. Atlantic Station


Go there for shopping, dinner, and a movie.

4. SunTrust Park

The new home of the Braves.

5. Sublime Donuts

Near Georgia Tech, this little donut shop doesn't look like much, but the donuts sure do!

6. Octane Coffee

The perfect place to sit back and enjoy coffee and conversation.

7. Café Intermezzo

A beautiful place in the heart of Atlanta. Take a picnic and a frisbee, and you're all set for a laid-back afternoon.

The perfect little English pub. Fish and chips, anyone?

Whether you're a kid, or a kid at heart, this is the place for you.

The environment of this Mexican restaurant is unlike any other. Also, they have Mexican food. Need I say more?
