"The Bachelorette" is one of the most popular shows on television and with good reason. Every season, there's a great mix of love, hate, fun, hilarity and ridiculousness. But a few of the things that stay exactly the same through each season are these 14 phrases.

1. "I'm here for the right reasons."

Yeah...sure you are.

2. "I don't think he's right for you."

Every single guy will say this about every other guy.

3. "I can't wait for them to meet my family."

There will absolutely be a showdown between Jojo's brothers and the contestants that meet them.

4. "Gentleman, [insert the Bachelorette's name], this is the final rose tonight. When you're ready."

I swear, Chris Harrison's only job on this show is to say these words.

5. "This is the most dramatic season in 'Bachelorette' history."

So, with this logic, every season is the most insane season.

6. "I can't wait to go on this journey with all of you."

Well, she really means this with only about five you. The rest of you are all going home.

7. "Should we get in the hot tub?"

Why did the producers feel the need to put a hot tub in the middle of a field?

8. "When am I getting a one-on-one?"

Dude, if you haven't gotten a one-on-one halfway through the season, then you might be out of luck.

9. "I hate group dates."

Honestly, I can understand why they would hate them.

10. "She's the most gorgeous Bachelorette of all time."

It's crazy how that is said every season.

11. "I can see myself spending the rest of my life with him."

The Bachelorette will probably say this about at least three of the contestants.

12. "I think my future husband is in this room."

The Bachelorette will definitely say this on the first night.

13. "This is the hardest goodbye I've ever had to say."

Well, she better get used to it because she has to say goodbye to four more guys.

14. "Will you marry me?"

Awe!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
