14 Netflix Shows You Should Be Watching

Ever sit and stare at your laptop screen wondering what to watch on Netflix? You’ve already seen every episode of every show worth watching, and you’re scared that show Netflix recommended to you is not like "New Girl" at all. Netflix may tell you what to watch based on algorithms they made up, but I am a real person here telling you my recommendations on what to binge watch next.

1. "Orange Is the New Black"

Find out what it's like to live in a women's prison.

2. "Trailer Park Boys"

Feel good about having graduated high school while you watch three guys fail time and time again to be drug dealers.

3. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"

Ever wonder what happens to those women who are rescued from cults? Now you know. Well, sort of.

4. "BoJack Horseman"

That cup of whiskey represents how much of this show I want to watch. Did I mention I watched the whole second season beginning to end in one run?

5. "The Office"

This is the face you get if you tell me you've never seen "The Office." Seriously. Go watch it. Now.

6. "It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

No, but I did get addicted to this show.

7. "Weeds"

Exactly. That's why I'm telling you to go watch this. Jenji Cohen knows how to do a show.

8. "Bob’s Burgers"

All of the characters are so #relatable. Also, everything is a pun. Don't tell me you don't like a good pun.

9. "30 Rock"

And say yes to binge watching 30 Rock! It's pretty much an autobiography of Tina Fey's life.

10. "Flaked"

Will Arnet gives up being a comedic genius to play a darker role. Still does a great job.

11. "Freaks and Geeks"

Be cool and watch it! Sad to say it got cancelled after one season, but that doesn't mean it isn't pure gold.

12. "Breaking Bad"

If you haven't watched this yet, you are letting down everyone, including Mike. Don't let him down. He'll be one of your favs, I promise.

13. "Love"

You'll love to hate all the characters. Really, they all are horrible people, but you can't stop watching.

14. "Skins"

Take a look into the world of British teens. It's basically a better "Degrassi." A much better "Degrassi."

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
