It honestly feels like December was yesterday, and there is no possible way that we are already in February. Time has gone too fast, and wasn't Christmas like yesterday? With time passing by too quickly, it is hard to imagine getting ready for Valentines Day. Well the day of love is just around the corner, and I don't blame you if you are not in the mood for it because neither am I. In fact, I am nowhere near prepared for V-Day. If you're anything like me, these movies will turn that around real fast. These movies will you in the mood for that special day.

1. "In Your Eyes"

This movie twists normal romances, and is beautiful to watch. If you enjoy science fiction, this movie is perfect for you. It has everything from drama to action to love. This is a must watch, and is available on Netflix,

2. "A Walk to Remember"

Two high school students destined to be together, what is not to love? This is a classic must watch. The movie, inspired by Nicholas Sparks' book is a tear jerker, but will definitely get you in the mood for Valentines Day.

3. "When Harry Met Sally"

This is by far my favorite on the list. This rom-com is perfect to prepare you for Valentines Day. It is not too sappy, so it wont make you want to lay in bed and re-evaluate your love life, but it will get your feels.

4. "500 Days of Summer"

Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. It doesn't get much cuter than that.

5. "The Notebook"

Of course, this is on the list. If you have been living under a rock for the past ten years, and haven't seen The Notebook, this is another Nicholas Sparks based movie. This go-to movie never fails to get you in the mood. I mean, come on Ryan Gosling is in it. What more do you need?

6. "10 Things I Hate About You"

Heath Ledger was a stud, and him playing bad boy Patrick is great. This movie will bring you back to your high school day, and make you wish you had a bad boy too.

7. "Me Before You"

This movie will make you cry, so I would have tissues on hand. This movie though is perfect to get you to prepare for Valentines Day.

8. "Dirty Dancing"

Patrick Swayze. Do I really need to say more?

9. "Pride and Prejudice"

This movie made me want to go back in time. This classic love story is beautiful. It will make you believe in love again, and it will want a British accent

10. "Pretty Woman"

What is better than Julia Roberts being a hooker, and landing a hot, rich man? Nothing. This movie screams Valentines Day.

11. "Clueless"

For those of you that hate sappy, lovey-dovey movies, this one is for you. The 90's romance is more of a comedy really that is relatable AF on a personal level. Not only will you be wanting Cher's style, but you'll end up wanting her love life too.

12. "Titanic"

Well of course this is on here, because it is the Titanic. This movie set the bar extremely high for romance movies. It literally has everything you can ask for within a movie. This is THE ultimate Valentines Day movie.

13. "50 First Dates"

This movie is guaranteed to make you laugh, and put you in your feels. Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are hilarious and make a great duo.

14. "If I Stay"

If you like the sad romance movies, this I promise you, will make you sad. I wont spoil anything, but this is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that.
