College: it's hard enough as it is trying to get through classes and other activities. Eating healthy, too? No, that's definitely not going to happen. We're constantly on the go and also constantly broke. In order to save money and save time, we have to choose to have some interesting meals. This list is the list of basic meals that college students eat. So without further ado, we'll get started.

1. Ramen

Ah, yes, Ramen. When one thinks of Ramen, they automatically think of broke college students everywhere. One cannot have a list of meals eaten in college without mentioning Ramen. Make sure you cook it properly and don't burn the building down.

2. Easy Mac

Oh yes, the almighty Easy Mac. I do not like Ramen (gasp), so Easy Mac is the closest thing I've got to it. Ready in 3.5 minutes and also cheap to buy.

3. Mac and Cheese

While Easy Mac is quicker, it is still cheap enough to buy a box of Mac and Cheese and cook it. Eat the entire box, treat yourself.

4. Pasta

Pasta is good and easy to make. It's also what I'm having for dinner tonight.

5. Pizza

Pizza is such a great invention. Greasy, Cheesy, and inexpensive, it's good whatever way you have it. One does not consume pizza, but instead gets consumed by the pizza.

6. Pizza Rolls

One cannot mention pizza on such a list without also mentioning pizza rolls. Throw them in the microwave for a while, and you're golden. What a time to be alive.

7. Bagel Bites

I, of course, could not leave out bagel bites. Definitely one of the most powerful collaborations of all time.

8. Chips

Chips, of course. Because sometimes, it's just one of those days.

9. Nachos

This gif really says it all. Everyone loves nachos. If anybody does not love nachos, they need to tell me now, because I don't think I know anyone who doesn't.

10. Tacos

What is the best day of the week? Taco Tuesday, obviously. Tacos are amazing, and they pack a lot in for a little. They're great.

11. French Fries

This is another food that everyone I know likes. Fries. They're good with just about anything. Same Anderson Cooper, same.

12. Yogurt

Yogurt is something that is really easy to buy and eat on the go. You can eat yogurt anywhere and it's OK.

13. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream

Ice cream is so good, especially Ben and Jerry's. How can you not eat a whole pint by yourself? Delicious.

14. Fast Food/Takeout

Fast food: because you're lazy.

While these are some of the highlights, there are many other meals that college students regularly eat. If I missed one of your favorites, let me know. It will definitely make the list next time. If you haven't eaten all of these and you're a college student, you'll get there. I hope you all enjoy your next meal!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
