If you've never been to an IKEA store, you're really missing out. I visited the West Chester IKEA this past weekend for my first ever IKEA visit, and it was amazing! I went shopping with my friend who is moving to her own apartment this year at the University of Louisville, so these items are all great for college students and their dorm rooms.
Even if you aren't shopping for something specific, IKEA is a great place to go, you'll find something that you just HAVE to buy and you'll have a blast looking at all of the room displays in "The Showroom." Whether you're going away for college, staying at home, or just looking for cheap items to make your space even better, IKEA is the place to shop (and they didn't even pay me to say this).
The following items are my top 14 must have IKEA items for under $30:
1. NORDMARKE - Phone Charging Pad - $27.99
This charging pad is an easy way to charge your phone; just place your phone on the "X" and begin charging! Make sure your phone is compatible with this device, because it doesn't work for all types of phones yet.
2. KOPPLA - 3-Port USB Charger - $9.99
Easily charge three items at once, with one plug-in, with this 3-port USB charger.
3. BRADA - Laptop Support - $4.99
This laptop support is great for any college student, or any person, who often uses a laptop.
4. ISBERGET - Tablet Stand - $1.99
If you have a tablet/iPad, why not buy this tablet stand for only $1.99?
5. JANSJO - LED Wall/Clamp Spotlight - $14.99
This clip-on light could be very useful for late night reading in bed or as a spotlight to showcase an item in your home.
6. LAMPAN - Table Lamp - $4.99
Who doesn't need a lamp for $4.99? This is a simple lamp that will match almost any style and décor.
7. VACKIS - Alarm Clock - $0.99
It's a 0.99 alarm clock, you have to buy it!
8. KVISSLE - Letter Tray - $19.99
This tray would be perfect for a student to organize papers or folders for each class, teachers to keep their lesson plans and assignments organized, or to organize junk mail and papers laying around the house.
9. SKURAR - Magnetic Noticeboard - $14.99
A magnetic board is great way to display pictures, notes, and other items that you don't want to forget...and this board is super cute!
10. PLUGGIS - Wall Storage Containers - $8.99 (7 piece set)
These wall storage containers could be used in any room/space for any person; they would be great for organizing craft or office supplies at a desk, beauty supplies in the bathroom, or even kitchen items.
11. RASKOG - Utility Cart - $29.99
My personal favorite item is this utility cart; I can think of so many ways to use this for organizing things around the house, in almost every room.
12. SKUBB - Shoe Storage - $7.99 (4 pack)
This 4-pack of storage bins keeps your shoes clean and together while preventing other items in your closet from getting dirty; perfect for any closet or laundry area.
13. ASSORTED THROW PILLOWS - $3.99+
IKEA has hundreds of throw pillows and covers with different designs and colors. No matter what your style is, IKEA has the perfect throw pillow for your space.
14. ASSORTED DUVETS - (Most) $19.99
If you're looking for new bedding, IKEA has tons of duvet covers to choose from, in almost every color! They also have duvet inserts and pillows.
Note: I have listed each item with it's IKEA product name and price as of July 2016, from the IKEA in West Chester Ohio.
Whether you're looking to redecorate or not, you'll want to plan on visiting IKEA sometime soon! I recommend reserving at least a couple of hours for IKEA because you'll never want to leave.
