College can be intimidating at times. Especially when you realize that you’re about to live with complete strangers for the next four years. Thankful as ever, I’ve lived with the people who’ve become some of my best friends in Miami. They're the people who make you laugh uncontrollably with, provide you with wild memories, and stick by your side through thick and thin. The list goes on. College just wouldn’t be the same them.
1.) Unlimited wardrobe options.
2.) Someone is always down for that 3am McFlurry run.
3.) Whenever you walk into the house there’s always someone to vent to who knows exactly how to cure a bad day.
4.) "Let’s carpool" is actually code for “Windows down and please pass me the AUX cord."
5.) There’s always the one roommate who serves as the designated alarm clock (aka Mom of the house).
6.) Going out together and rolling up like:
7.) Random dancing and singing is a reoccurring theme around the house.
8.) Winter break evokes major separation anxiety. And when they leave you to go abroad for a semester—OK. We won’t even go there.
9.) They’ve seen you at your low points—sleep deprived, sweatpants, messy bun and all. They love you anyways.
10.) Your space becomes their space. Their belongings become your belongings. #sharingiscaring
11.) Game day mornings are a team effort.
12.) Because no one wants to do the dishes alone.
13.) They know all of your weird tendencies. And, they accept you for them.
14.) No matter what, you know they always have your back.
