14 Disney Movies That Should Be Broadway Musicals

Some of the events that take place in Disney animated movies you could never imagine happening in real life. But, with Disney theatricals in the past few decades, we have seen household objects come to life in Beauty and the Beast, gone to the African safari with The Lion King and under the sea with The Little Mermaid, and have even seen people fly in Mary Poppins and Aladdin. While Broadway has brought to life many great Disney movies, there are still dozens of classics that have not graced the Great White Way. Here are 14 Disney movies that I believe should be turned into Broadway musicals in the next several years.

1. Hercules

The Muses would completely steal the show, and you'd get to see a hunky Broadway star walking around in a tunic. Plus, can't you just imagine a hilarious number between Hades and Pain and Panic?

2. Mulan

Who wouldn't want to see "I'll Make a Man Out of You" performed live while Mulan climbs a pole right in front of your eyes?

3. Wreck-It Ralph

I'm imagining a life-size Sugar Rush game and the stage completely decorated in sweets, and I have to say--I really, really like it.

4. 101 Dalmatians

The dogs might be a bit of a challenge, but c'mon. Cruella de Vil in person would be a treat to see!

5. The Princess and the Frog

One of my favorite Disney movies, I would love to see how they make the transition from humans to frogs and back again. Plus, you know "Dig a Little Deeper" would bring down the house.

6. Big Hero 6

I think I might spontaneously combust if I saw Baymax doing any sort of big dance number and singing in his robotic voice.

7. Tangled

Alright, alright, so there is technically a Tangled show aboard the Disney Magic cruise ship, but I would kill to see the lantern scene recreated in a Broadway theater.

8. The Aristocats

Maybe not one everyone thinks of right away, but a rousing dance number to "Everybody Wants to Be a Cat" would leave the audience on their feet for sure!

9. Alice in Wonderland

Wonderland would be so gorgeous, and characters such as the Mad Hatter, Caterpillar and the Queen of Hearts would be such fun roles to see come to life!

10. The Goofy Movie

One word: Powerline.

11. Pocahontas

Another one of my favorites, and I think that seeing the setting come to life would be amazing. Plus, a beautiful song by Grandmother Willow would make me sob.

12. Enchanted

Now that Mary Poppins has proven there is a way to make the transition from animation to live-action in a movie graceful onstage, I am anxious to see how Enchanted would handle it!

13. Lilo and Stitch

I am curious to see how both Stitch and surfing would be brought to life in a theater, and you know all that Elvis music would be a rousing good time!

14. The Emperor's New Groove

I want Kronk to have his own song, and I want him to sing about the poison chosen specially to kill Kuzco, his spinach puffs, and how much he loves being able to speak squirrel.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
