This past year was barely real. Check out some of these unbelievable and insane headlines of 2016, featuring a chicken-slaughtering celeb and a gator-throwing Floridian!

1. Britain left the EU.

Who would have seen that coming in 2015?

2. And shortly after Brexit, Trump had some eloquent thoughts about the situation.

It's so fortunate that our country has such a politically aware leader!

3. And speaking of Trump...

Yup, that's our Prez!

4. A Congressman vaped at a hearing.

5. Trump cancelled his appearances because he didn't like the way he looked.

What kind of extra is this?

6. Almost half of Florida thought Ted Cruz could be a serial killer.

There are no words.

7. When Trump didn't realize how presidential terms work.

"16 years or whatever." Can't tell if he just can't count, or if he's implying that he's going to become a dictator. Either way, it's probably not a good sign.

8. Poor Jeb.

This is some next level pettiness.

9. This kid dabbed when taking a picture with Paul Ryan.

“Were you going to sneeze, is that it?” Ryan asked.

10. DJ Khaled's Snapchat fame didn't serve him so well this time.

Congratulations, you played yourself.

11. Florida Man struck again.

12. Al-Qaeda put Trump into their propaganda videos.

Yup.

13. Azealia Banks has been doing this for three years.

We all knew she was crazy, but this is taking it to a whole new level.

14. This one's from 2017, but it was too good to not to mention.

Bernie's already starting off the year right.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
