14 Bible Verses For When You Feel Like You Don't Have A Purpose In Life

People can be like robots. They do what they need to do, and are driven by life's demands. It's so easy to routinely go about life, that it becomes difficult to see the clarity and purpose of our lives. I know we all have felt lost, confused, or inadequate in our own lives. We may say, What am i doing with my life? What's it all for? I feel like I'm going about my day without reason.

Of course, like anything else, it may take time to figure out what we're meant to do in this world. And, until we figure it out, life seems unclear and confusing. However, I believe that while our main goal should be to find our purpose, our journey towards it is just as important.

Here are 14 bible verses that will remind you of your purpose:

1. Jeremiah 1:5.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

2. Proverbs 19:21.

"You can make plans, but the Lord's purpose will prevail."

3. Habakkuk 2:3.

"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay."

4. Matthew 6:33.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

5. Ephesians 2:10.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

6. Jeremiah 29:11.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

7. Galatians 6:9.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

8. Proverbs 3:5-6.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heartand lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

9. Proverbs 16:3.

"Entrust your efforts to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."

10. Proverbs 20:5.

"The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out."

11. 2 Timothy 1:9.

"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace."

12. 2 Corinthians 12:9.

"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

13. 1 Peter 2:9.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

14. Isaiah 43:4.

"Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you."

Figuring out what God's purpose for you isn't knowing what you're next big move is. It's knowing what He wants you to do now. All things fall into place, and all things will eventually make sense. Because we are fearfully and wonderfully made, we all have a purpose that exceeds our imagination. We're made for more — we're made to live a life of purpose.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
