There are quite a few movies that have become classics over the years, and quite a few rom-coms that stand out in their genre, but this is the definitive list of the 14 best romantic comedies ever.

1. Princess Diaries

Arguably the best series in Hathaway's career, this chronicles some of the trials and tribulations of a girl learning how to be a Princess and ultimately (spoiler alert) a Queen. It's a go-to movie for a sick day or a girls night in.

2. The Prince and Me

Julia Stiles is every sarcastic girl in a nut shell, and she takes no slack from anyone, not even a Prince in disguise. Not the typical ending for a rom-com—it keeps you on your toes!

3. The 10 Things I Hate About You

Speaking of Julia Stiles, she really knows how to play that sarcastic role, here alongside Heath Ledger. This movie is the epitome of high school and the drama filled with a little bit of sibling misunderstanding. Perfect for a rainy day, or every day of the week.

4. Miss Congeniality

Okay, I will admit that I'm seriously crushing on Sandra Bullock, and her performance is fantastic in this movie. Not only is there a remarkable transformation outwardly, but she learns quite a bit about herself and her close-mindedness while falling for a fellow cop.

5. 13 Going on 30

Jennifer Garner plays a 13-year-old trapped in her 30-year-old body after wishing under some magical dust and Mark Ruffalo plays her kid best friend. She has to navigate this new world that she's already been living, and tries to recreate a friendship that had ended years ago. Super romantic and absolutely adorable.

6. Leap Year

Amy Adams wants to be engaged to her boyfriend of many years, and decides to take matters into her own hands. So, on Leap Day as the old Irish tradition tells, a woman can propose to a man, and why not when her boyfriend is in Ireland for business?! She gets a bit side-tracked when her plane is grounded for bad weather, though, and ends up on the crazy adventure of a lifetime to get to her boyfriend while spending quite some time with a new Irishman.

7. Enchanted

Yet again, Amy Adams strikes while being absolutely adorable and sweet. Of course, she is a fairy-tale character, so it does make sense! She winds up out of her Disney life and shoved into NYC—the starkest difference from Disney when it comes to real life. The story follows her bringing unadulterated joy into one mans life and changing his view on everything.

8. The Princess Bride

An incredibly romantic tale full of adventure, danger and plenty of laughs. Told by a grandfather to his grandson, and absolutely riveting.

9. Drive Me Crazy

Alright, I'm a huge Melissa Joan Hart fan, but I also really love Adrian Grenier. The two play neighbors who have a fake relationship to make their exes jealous, and things don't go quite as planned...

10. My Fake Fiancé

These two have such great chemistry (something they played with in Melissa and Joey) even though they don't know it at first. Joey's character owes a mobster some money and Melissa's character has no savings left after paying for a brand-new apartment, so they decide to have a sham wedding to pay off his debts and buy her some furniture that she so desparately needs. Super corny, but who doesn't love a good ABC Family movie?

11. Legally Blonde

Elle Woods? Best-dressed, best lawyer, sweetest personality. This movie is definitely an identifier for Reese Witherspoon, and her performance was inspired. What starts off as a way to get her ex back turns into something much, much better.

12. Maid in Manhattan

Who doesn't love Jennifer Lopez? If you say you don't, you're clearly lying. She plays a loving single mother with a kid (Tyler Posey) working as a maid trying to move up in the ranks of her hotel. One day while playing dress-up, she meets a guest who may take her world for a spin.

13. The Nanny Diaries

Based off of the #1 New York Times Best Seller, this movie follows Scarlett Johansson as a newly graduated student from college turned nanny. Although the romantic counterpart of her story isn't a huge part of the film, her connection with the boy she nannies is where all of the love is found.

14. Forrest Gump

There's a lot of humor mixed into this incredible tale, but in the end it's really about one mans unending love for his sweetheart. He lives his whole life for her, and never gives up hope. In a truly touching performance, Tom Hanks makes Forrest such a lovable man, and this movie a classic.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
