Like most eccentric young teens, I was absolutely obsessed with "Glee." I have fond memories of sitting on my couch waiting in anticipation for the song and drama-filled episode that was about to take place. Now, as a junior in college, I've recently reconnected with old love and realized that I relate, now more than ever, to what was going on in the show. Here are 13 ways "Glee" is exactly like your college life.
1. How you feel after a long week of classes, mid-term exams, essays and projects.
And you're starting to believe that you're actually going nuts.
2. You can pretty much cry anytime, anywhere.
It's truly a talent. It doesn't matter if you're in line to get food, walking down the street or talking to your mom on the phone, you can easily bring out the waterworks.
3. The best cure to being single is obviously food.
And it's a much better option anyway.
4. When you see how long the lines are to get food at your student union.
And you debate if the wait is actually worth it. It always is.
5. When you come home and your roommates want to talk, but you are absolutely starving.
Once you have that first bite of food, you become much more chatty.
6. When a cutie walks in on the first day of class.
And you spend the rest of the semester deciding if/when/how you're going to talk to them.
7. When that one kid in class says something that he/she probably shouldn't have.
And half of the room is mildly offended.
8. When you hand in an essay knowing that you absolutely crushed.
And you feel on top of the world.
9. When you open up an exam and realize that you know nothing that's on the first page.
And it hits you that you probably should have studied a lot more than you did.
10. When the professor tries to start a new lesson with five minutes left in the class on a Friday afternoon.
Not today, Satan.
11. How you feel when nothing seems to be going right, but you just have to keep pushing through.
The show must go on!
12. When someone is asking you why you're pursuing your major.
'Nuff said.
13. When all of your friends' schedules finally align and the gang gets to hang out.
And it's one of the best feelings out there.
