13 Things You've Definitely Said While Traveling Without Wi-Fi

Recently, I spent my spring break traveling through Europe without an international cell phone plan. At first it was absolutely amazing to be off the grid for a while, but I definitely started to savor those restaurants with free wi-fi. There were some moments of panic without Google maps, but I survived and I really think my break was way more enjoyable without service. Everyone who has done this, definitely went through a few thought processes like these.

1. "OK, airplane mode on; one last data usage before we take off."

2. "Wait, does the airport have wi-fi to figure out where we are going?"

3. "How do we get to our hotel without Google maps?"

4. "OK, we can figure out a bus system in German without a phone lets do it."

5. "Phew, we made it to the hotel -- what's the wi-fi password?"

6. "Let's do five more minutes of wi-fi and then we can leave."

7. "Wow, it's nice to not have a phone and not have to worry about anyone else."

8. (Sit down at a restaurant.) "Is there wi-fi?

9. "Yes there's wi-fi in here!"

10. "How do we figure out where this place is without maps?"

11. "Remind me to post this later today."

12. "Wow, I always feel so popular once we have wi-fi; this is beautiful."

13. "Back to Italy -- pasta, wine, pizza and cell phone service!"

In all honesty, it was a refreshing experience to be without data and an international plan. I found myself being more in the moment and thoroughly enjoying myself. Some moments of panic definitely occurred, but all in all I would do it again.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
