A GIF of this guy blinking has gone viral on Twitter. The GIF shows Drew Scanlon, from video game website Giant Bomb’s Unprofessional Fridays, and has existed for a while now. But it has recently recirculated on your Twitter and Facebook feeds and is known as the “white guy blinking” meme. People have been using this guy to talk about their families, love lives, movies, friends, driving, etc. I mean you name it, he's probably reacted to it. I found his reaction to be extremely relatable. So here's my little compilation of times this white guy blinking was basically every college student ever.
1. When you turn in an exam, your classmates start to talk about their answers and none of theirs match yours.
2. Student two months ago: "I'm gonna have a 4.0 this semester and stay on top of things!!!"
Student now:
3. When you (not so surprisingly) receive a low grade on an assignment after not studying or preparing at all for it.
4. When you intend on taking a 30 minute nap but you wake up 3 hours later.
5. Student: looks at clock while writing a paper
Time: 6:30pm
Student: Writes for 3 hours, eats dinner, calls mom
Time: 6:42pm
6. Student: finishes assignment minutes before it's due
Professor: Very insightful, great work
Student:
7. Goes to the rec for the first time all semester and doesn't automatically lose 10 pounds.
8. When you are giving an oral presentation and you hear someone laugh.
9. Student: Spends money
Bank: Takes money spent out of my account
Student:
10. Professor: "Ok projects are due 2 months from now!!"
Student: "I've got plenty of time"
*2 months later*
Professor: "Presentation time!!"
Student:
11. Professor: "The highest score was a 96 and the lowest score was a 52"
Student: "What fool got a 52?!"
*gets test handed back*
Student:
12. *Joins a club to get involved around campus*
Club actually asks me to do something...
13. Student: "I am so gonna fail this exam"
*fails exam*
Student:
