Only they are so much better.

Dogs -- man's best friend. What would we be without these amazing little friends? We love our dogs and spend a lot of our time with them. Sometimes they even start to act like us. Here's 13 times where our dogs remind us of ourselves and make us smile in the process.

1. When You Have To Wake Up For Morning Classes

And then quickly decide your bed is a much better place than anywhere else.

2. When You Need Some Attention

Sometimes we just need a hug.

3. Halloweek

Need I say more?

4. When Someone Tries To Cut In Front Of You

"Nope. Not today. You are not slick. Get in the back of the line."

5. When You Remember Something Important When You're Trying To Sleep

It happens -- but whether we get out of bed and finish or fix anything is a different story.

6. When You See Someone You Know In Public But Don't Want To Speak

"Ugh I wore the same shirt yesterday and I just really don't want to have a twenty minute conversation in the middle of the grocery store." *slinks away behind aisles*

7. When We're Not Making The Best Decisions

We think we have everything under control and we can totally handle (insert stupid idea here). Maybe we can handle it but more likely, we probably just embarrass ourselves.

8. When We Need Some "Me Time"

Sometimes we just need some pampering.

9. When You're Fresh Out Of The Shower

There is almost no better feeling than taking a long, hot shower or relaxing bath.

10. When You're Running Late For Class

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

11. When You Are Just Not In The Mood To Deal With People

We all have our moments where we should probably just be left alone.

12. When You Refuse To Notice You've Put On Some Weight

"Oh these jeans just shrunk in the wash...."

13. When You Finally Accept You've Gained Weight But Cheat On Your Diet

No shame.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
