13 Times Creed Was The Best Character On The Office
Creed's Twitter

Creed is for sure the most underrated character on the office. The show would be lacking without his snarky, nonsense comments. Here is just a reminder of the great Creed Bratton.

1. "Did one of you tell Stanley that I have asthma. 'Cause I don't. If this gets out, they won't let me scuba. And if I can't scuba, what am I working toward?"

Season 6, Episode 1 - "Gossip." In this episode, gossip is being spread around the office. Clueless as always, Creed had to clear the air that his asthma is still under wraps.

2. "Thanks. Playing a little hookey from work today....Oh my god."

Season 9, Episode 4 - "Work Bus". In this episode, Dunder Mifflin employees take their work elsewhere from now Dwight's building. They move into a work bus. While on the bus, Dwight picks up a hitchhiker. Which happens to be creed, trying to play hookey.

3. "Oh, you're payin' way too much for your worms, man. Who's your worm guy?"

Season 6, Episode 7 - "Koi Pond." Michael fell into the koi pond at a business he was just at. After the absurd price the company is asking for a replacement, $300, he claims he could catch the fish with a 5 cent worm. Apparently, experienced, Creed tells Michael that he is paying way too much for his worms.

4. "Just pretend like we're talking until the cops leave."

Season 5, Episode 8 - "Frame Toby." Dwight brings the cops in because he suspects someone in the office has marijuana - but "apparently," and not suspiciously at all, it's not Creed.

5. "When Pam gets Michael's old chair, I get Pam's old chair. Then I'll have two chairs. Only one to go."

Season 4, Episode 10 - "Chair Model." In light of Michael getting a new chair, his old one goes to Pam. Pam's goes to Creed, and then, he'll have two chairs. And then apparently he only needs one. For God only knows what.

6. "It’s Halloween. That is really, really good timing."

Season 9, Episode 5 - "Here Comes Treble." In this Halloween episode, Creed comes in wearing a blood-spattered shirt. When someone reminds him that it is Halloween, he is suddenly very relieved. Season 7, Episode 24 - "Search Committee."

7. "B. O. B. O. D. D. Y."

Season 7, Episode 24 - "Search Committee." - For some reason, Creed is acting manager. First thing as manager - coming up with acronyms. The first acronym he created is "Boboddy." With no meaning at all.

8. "Yep, that's exactly what happened."

Season 2, Episode 10 - "Christmas Party." - Creed got Jim a flannel for Secret Santa. It being very small, and very old, Jim suspects that it was pulled out of his closet this morning. Creed confirms.

9. "Do you want to see a foot with four toes?"

Season 2, Episode 18 - "Take Your Daughter to Work Day." All of the office's children (supposed to be just daughter's, but Meredith's son joins) come into work with them for the day. With all the departments trying to show the children something cool, Creed's "something cool" is his foot, which happens to have four toes.

10. "www.creedthoughts.gov.www/creedthoughts"

Season 3, Episode 23 - "The Job." Creed asked Ryan to set him up a blog. Afraid of what might possibly put out into the internet, Ryan opened a Microsoft Word Document, typed the above site at the top of the document, and ta-da! Creedthoughts.gov.

11. "You were in the parking lot earlier, that's how I know you!"

Season 5, Episode 13 - "Stress Relief." While the office members are getting CPR training, Creed remembers the woman from the parking lot that morning. A very familiar face.

(Side note - All Office lovers can agree this is the best episode ever.)

12. "Something's up. That paper shouldn't have been delivered."

Season 6, Episode 8 - "Double Date." When Pam tries to fake her way out of her and Jim's double date with Michael and her mom, she fakes a delivery issue. Jim, seeing right through it, goes and hangs up the fake phone call. Relieved, for some reason, Creed is sure the paper shouldn't have been delivered anyways. Because why would paper be delivered... from a paper company...

13. "Who wasn't there last week? Debbie Brown. And which day was that? Wednesday, the eleventh. Perfect."

Season 3, Episode 20 - "Product Recall." Creed's job is apparently quality assurance, so when there is a graphic image printed on all of the paper, it falls on Creed's shoulders. When he missed his quality assurance check, he finds out who was missing from the office, and points the blame onto them instead.

In summary, and again, Creed in the most underrated character on The Office. He is quirky, probably because of previous drug use, but Creed would fall short without this personality trait. Thank you, Creed, for the snarky comments, and for your quality assurance.

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
