Dogs are a blessing. Sent from heaven above to fill our lives with love, laughter, and happiness. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I will do almost anything to pet a dog. I love them. You love them. Everyone loves them. They are hilarious in everything they do and we love them more and more each day.
1. They will give you more kisses than you thought were possible
Just when you thought they were done, they will go in for more.
2. Anything is fair game when it comes to chewing
They will chew on anything, and I mean ANYTHING. It doesn’t matter if it’s theirs or not, it’s going in their mouth.
3. That also stands for getting on the furniture
I mean, you let your cat get on the kitchen table, so why can’t your dog get up there too.
4. Their farts are more deadly than any humans
I don’t know what they put in dog food, but it makes them stinky. They also only seem to fart when you are loving them or when they are cuddling with you.
5. Any position is comfortable for them to sleep in
They were clearly a contortionist in their past life
6. Dogs are babies with four legs
If you didn’t think you would have to baby proof your house when you get a dog, then think again.
7. They know how to get away with anything
Be honest, when they look up at a certain way, you’re going to forgive them for destroying your house.
8. Dogs don't understand personal space
You may have thought you adopted a dog, but really, you adopted a shadow.
9. They are super photogenic
What other reason is there for you to have 2,000 pictures of them on your phone?
10. Going outside is their favorite thing
Squirrels. Enough said.
11. They find joy out of the simplest things
Whether it’s chasing their tail or barking at shadows on the wall, they can be mesmerized for hours
12. You are their whole life
They love you more than anything. There is a reason they want to lick you death and get so excited when you walk through the door. You are their special human, and they want to show you every second of the day.
13. They make your life whole
I don’t know about you, but there isn’t anything in the world that I would trade my dog for. Nothing. She is my baby, and I can’t imagine my life with her.
Now, who’s a good boy?
