When deciding what to write for my weekly articles, I decided to ask a handful of people of things that are so small but still seem to really piss us off. I had a lot of fun writing this, there are so many small things in the world that just really push our buttons and here are 13 of them. Can you relate?

1. When strangers have hair that is noticeable and you just want to pull it off without making it weird

2. When people talk on speaker phone in the middle of lines

3. When Starbucks spells our names wrong on the cups

4. When you try your hardest to remember the name of a song and spend up to 7 hours thinking of it (it can happen)

5. When your credit card gets declined but you know there is money on there

6. When people don't hold the door open for others

7. Back seat drivers

8. When people talk to you when you're clearly doing something

9. When people don't say "please" or "thank you"

10. When people chomp on their gum

11. When professors say not to worry about a subject but it ends up on the exam and you're unprepared

12. When one person yells from across the room for someone else

13. When the wifi runs super slow for no reason

At the end of it all, these things may piss us off but at least it's for a little while. What small things seem to piss you off?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
